Spire Enters the MENA Region
The promise and potential of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region brings about the creation of Spire Research & Consulting MENA LLC, a joint venture based in Dubai.
Capturing the optimism of the start of a new year, Spire announced the latest addition to its nine full-service offices around the world. Spire MENA seeks to support businesses in the region, as well as offer services to Asia-based and multinational clients looking to enter the MENA markets.
Leon Perera, Spire’s Group CEO, expressed confidence that Spire MENA will be able to help its clients create value for their shareholders. Spire’s parent company, the TSE listed Yamada Consulting Group (YCG), believes that Spire MENA reflects its commitment to the MENA region, supporting the growth aspirations of its Japanese and global clientele.
The excitement for this partnership is shared by its partners in the Middle East. Spire MENA is a joint venture (JV) with ZASK Associates, a company incorporated in the UAE and staffed with extensive regional expertise. ZASK Chairman, Adnan Kaddoura, expressed commitment in supporting the public and private sector in the MENA region with Spire. Spire MENA will be headed by Tarek Elhousseiny, a career banker who has steered American Express and Visa’s expansion into the MENA markets. Tarek reveals that Spire MENA will progressively establish companies across key regional markets to be closer to its clients and serve them better.
With strong expertise and commitment towards supporting growth and innovation in emerging economies, Spire aims to contribute meaningfully towards the economic transformation of the MENA region.
