Indonesia’s Food and Beverage (F&B) industry contributes more than 40%, or USD 27.5 billion, to its creative economy, with full-service restaurants making up over 77% of the F&B services sector.
The Covid-19 lockdowns has negatively impacted these restaurants. Even the keyword ‘restaurant’ experienced a decline of 20% in Google search.
To meet this challenge, some restaurants are bringing the dining experiences to their customers’ homes. The restaurants provide food, cutlery and service so that their customers can enjoy the dining-out experience in the safety of their own homes.
